SAUTEED PLAINTAIN FAROFA

Ingredient list:
  • 1 ½ cups Farofa de Mandioca Tradicional or Farofa Milho
  • 2 Plantains
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ sliced onion
  • 10 sliced grape tomatoes
  • Parsley + Chives to taste
  • Salt to taste
How-to:
  1. Chop plantains into small ½ inch pieces.
  2. Add olive oil and butter to pan, let it warm up on medium heat then add onions and plantains for 5 minutes. 
  3. Add tomatoes for 2 minutes. Turn to low heat. 
  4. Slowly add Farofa, seasonings, and salt while mixing then cook on low for 2-4 minuets. 
  5. Turn off heat. Your plantain farofa is ready!
