CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM STROGANOFF

Ingredient list:
  • 1/3 onion
  • 4 oz mushrooms
  • 2-4 chicken breasts or tenderloins 
  • ½-1 cup rice
  • 1/3 lemon
  • Salt and pepper
  • Ketchup ½ oz
  • Mustard ½ oz
  • Mayo ¼ oz
  • Heavy cream ¼ oz
  • Batata Palha (Fries)
How-to:
  1. Bring water to boil, add rice when ready, turn down to medium and cook for 15 min then turn to simmer until stroganoff is done.
  2. Chop onions and mushrooms into small pieces. 
  3. Slice chicken into roughly ½ inch size pieces then squeeze lemon juice onto them.
  4. Heat a pan with oil on medium then add onions and cook for 5 min, then add mushrooms and cook for 5 min.
  5. Add chicken pieces and cook for 8 min on medium heat, add salt, pepper, and other preferred seasonings.
  6. Once chicken has cooked for 8-10 min turn down the heat to simmer then add ketchup, mayo, and mustard. Turn heat off and after another 2-3 min add heavy cream then stir until mixed.
