BRAZILIAN CHEESE BREAD

Ingredient list:

  • 1/2 bag of Amafil Cheese Bread Mix 
  • 4 Medium Eggs
  • 8 oz. (230 g) of Shredded Cheese (preferably Parmesan and Muenster mix or substitute Mozzarella instead of Muenster)
  • 8 fl oz. of water (230 mL)

How-to:

  1. Add into a large bowl the Amafil Cheese Bread Mix, 4 eggs and shredded cheese. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula.
  2. While slowly adding the water to the bowl, continue to stir with a spoon until it begins to look like one large dough ball. Then knead mix with your hands making sure dough is evenly distributed. Knead the mix as much as you can with the palm of your hand (at least until dough mostly does not stick to the bowl).
  3. Preheat oven to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  4. Make dough balls to your desired size with your hands (TIP: use an ice cream or coffee scoop!) 
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until light golden color.
- This recipe yields 35 units of cheese bread. Double the ingredients for a bigger quantity.
- You can freeze cheese balls for later baking if desired!
