BRAZILIAN HOT DOGS (6 servings)

Ingredient list:
  • 4-6 hot dogs or sausages and hoagie rolls (large hot dog buns)
  • 1/3 onion
  • ½ Vegetable medley of corn, carrots, green beans, and green peas (6 oz. or 170 g)
  • 1/2 Tomato sauce jar
  • Extra Thin Batata Palha (Fries)
  • Shredded cheese – parmesan or cheddar 
  • Italian parsley (1/3 cup), rosemary (1/4 cup), and thyme (1/4 cup) de-leafed from stem
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Canola Oil
  • Sazon meat seasoning
How-to:
  1. Chop onion and sausages into small pieces
  2. Add onion and vegetable mix to large pot with canola oil at medium-heat for 5 minutes.
  3. Add sausages and Sazon seasoning to veggie pot and cook for 5 more minutes
  4. Mix tomato sauce into pot, stirring frequently for 10-15 minutes. (TIP: Add water as desired for a thinner sauce) 
  5. 5. Reduce heat and serve immediately. The hot dog buns go with the prepped sauce, shredded cheese and fries on top! (TIP: Have your hot dog with a Guarana soda for a full Brazil experience!)
